Right before leaving my ex last June, I started to call on Snake medicine. I knew I needed the wisdom of shedding my skin, my entire life as I knew it. I needed to know I could loose my preconceived identity of happiness that had been fed to me my entire life and be ok, because at the time, I was not. When I began this prayer, I didn’t understand how deep the medicine would go. The amount of layers that would peel away. Not revealing rawness, but revealing home, wholeness, ✨revealing✨ me to myself. About a month ago I envisioned this set, the ouroboros with scales made of Cacao, Rose, and Hawthorn, written in folk art. The never ending cycle of death and rebirth. The story endlessly told.
